With a background in social work and fine arts, Mr. Rao holds a Master of Social Work from Nagarjuna University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from JNTU University, both with first-class honors. He also earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Education and Management from the University of Hyderabad, complemented by certifications from the Global Health E-Learning Center sponsored by USAID.
Mr. Rao’s career began as an Art Teacher, after which he served as a Consultant to the UNDP & DM Unit of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He further contributed to significant development projects as a Program Officer/CSR Coordinator for Comprehensive Rural Development Projects funded by Dalmia Cements and as a Project Officer for community micro-projects funded by USAID and CARE UK, Australia. His expertise in emergency response management, particularly in addressing the impacts of natural disasters, highlights his commitment to community welfare.
In 2008, Mr. Rao established Arunodaya Trust, marking a pivotal point in his journey to support social welfare initiatives. As Managing Director of Arunodaya Foods, he combines his extensive experience with a passion for quality and authenticity, ensuring that the company delivers the finest traditional Indian spices and pickles. His leadership focuses on strategic planning, quality assurance, and community engagement, supporting local farmers and promoting sustainable practices that drive the company towards excellence and innovation.
